Duration- 3 days,

Region -Manali Kullu.

Best Season-April to October

Day 01: Manali - Solang - Dhundi , drive 13 kms, trek 3/4 hrs.

Day 02: Dhundi - Beas Kund 3540 m. - Dhundi 2840 m. 6-7 hrs. 

Day 03: Dhundi-  Solang-  Old Manali

TOUR ITINARARY

 

Day 01: Manali - Solang - Dhundi , drive 13 kms, trek 3/4 hrs.

from Manali we drive 12 kms to Solang which is starting point of our trek. It offers a spectacular sight of snow capped mountains. From Solang a 8 kms level walk on the right bank of River Beas, through forest of  oak, fir and walnuts, leads to Dhundhi. Enroute  we get a glimpses of Deo Tibba 6001 mtrs. and Indrasan peak 6220 mtrs. Overnight camp at Dhundhi 2840 mtrs. which offer a glimpse of Hanuman Tibba 5990 mtrs

 

Day 02: Dhundi - Beas Kund 3540 m. - Dhundi 2840 m. 6-7 hrs.

 A gradual ascent to Baker Thach after crossing the ford  through boulders and rocks to Beas Kund  which is a tiny lake also believed to be the source of River Beas. And ofcourse base camp for the wonderful summits around. Visiting around the lake we retrace back to Dundhi camp previously established for overnight stay.

 

Day 03: Dhundi-  Solang-  Old Manali

Retrace back, gradual descent  to  Solang. From Solang we continue trek to Burua , Goshal , Shanag and Old Manali. The route presents a spectacular sights of local life.
